Congratulations to our 2022 Youth of the Year winner, ENDYIA!
Boys & Girls Club of Antelope Valley is proud to announce Endyia Simpson as the winner of the
2022 Youth of the Year!
"If you put your mind to it, anything is possible."
Endyia is 14 years old and has been a part of Boys & Girls Club for 9 years. Starting the Club at only 6 years old helped shaped her into the person she is today. With time and dedication to better her education she has received multiple honor roll awards and is on the road to graduating high school early by taking additional classes at Learn for Life.
Endyia is currently the Desert Sands Park BGC Keystone President, where she is helping lead Club youth towards a great future. She is also a member of GEMS Club at her school, where she is a mentor and offers support to other girls needing answers for everyday challenges.
With younger siblings and close friends at the Club, she hopes to set an example for them. She would like to show them how hard work can pay off.
What is Youth of the Year?
Youth of the Year is a year-round character and leadership program that recognizes Boys and Girls Club members who display the spirit of the Club. Aged 14-18, these teens demonstrate academic achievement, leadership skills and service to the community. They are working hard, investing in themselves and have their sights set on achieving a GREAT FUTURE.
Youth of the Year is Boys & Girls Club of America's highest honor that can be bestowed upon a Club member.
